My first 40 years

Last 15th January, my first 40 years arrived. It is a magical number that not everybody likes to be. My opinion is that the most important thing is to be years, does not matter how many….
Time spending is inevitable; to stop it is an impossible mission.
Years go and years come for everybody, and although we know that with them the experience and the maturity arrive, they also bring the aging.
From this moment, we need to reconsider our lives. We cannot live as if we were 20 or 30. The reality is another one. We need a change. For teenagers, changes must be given to reach the maturity, but when arriving at the fourth decade, the changes will deal with way of thinking, how we see life and how we see ourselves.
The best thing is to let the world flows and follows its course, without trying to control the uncontrollable thing.
What am I going to do from 16th January 2007?

• I will accept myself as I am because the acceptance is not resignation, but to take control the situation. To think about what I can do with what I have got.
• I will review my life. I will wonder: what do I want to keep up? What don’t I need anymore? And what should I add? It is important that I divest all those things I don’t use.
• I will dare to do what I ever stopped doing. I will question my individuality, what do I want to do?
• Today it is the right moment; I have time for me, because I already fulfilled many of my expectations (and others’ ones).
• I am going to change my wishes. I will forget about “I WOULD HAVE” and I will choose “I WANT TO”. In this way, I will do all possible things to get it. I will change “I HAVE TO DO” by “I DECIDE TO DO”.
• I will forget what the others say. I will close well my ears to which others say. I will live my life, not the others’ ones. Since, if I don’t live my life, nobody will do it by me.

From this blog, I want to thank for all those FRIENDS who remembered this so important day for me. From nearest here in Zaragoza, Soria, Barcelona, Madrid, etc….and all those who had a thought for a friend who, still being so far in distance (Rumania, France, Great Britain, India, Turkey, China, Egypt, Poland) made me feel next in feeling .......
